Graduation Details

Following guidance from OSPI, SPS will hold in-person high school graduation ceremonies that are aligned to safety protocols, including limiting the number of audience members. Each student will be allowed four ticketed guests, however this number could decrease based on guidance from Public Health. District staff are also exploring the option of live streaming.   • Graduation will be held in-person at Memorial Stadium at 8:00pm on Monday, June 14th. Students need to arrive between 7:00 and 7:15pm. Each student may have 4 guests seated in a pod. Each person, regardless of age, counts as a guest, including babies in laps. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we adhere to the district guidelines.   • If you (student) are not going to attend the in-person graduation please email Marjorie Gamble ASAP. 

  • Cap and Gown, and Graduation Ticket Pick-Up will take place on Monday, June 7th 4:00-5:00pm. Cap and Gown, and Graduation Tickets will also be available for pick up on Senior Check Out Day, Wednesday, June 9th. Tuesday, June 15, 12:00-3:00 PM, Magnuson Park

Get ready to celebrate with food trucks, games, and prizes! We know many of you were expecting a traditional spree party, senior luncheon and prom, but COVID struck and forced us to pivot in an entirely different direction. Your Senior Events organizers, Kimberly Makielski Miller and Maya Dammand, are feverishly working to finalize the event and will keep you posted on their progress. They'll also be looking for parent volunteers -- more to come about this too so stay tuned. Thank you for your patience and support!

Service Learning Graduation Requirement Temporarily Suspended 

On Feb. 10, the Seattle School Board voted to

temporarily suspend the service learning graduation requirement,

which requires seniors to complete 60 hours of service learning, for

this year’s graduating seniors. Students will not be required to submit

waivers for the service learning requirement in order to graduate
